Prominent cryptocurrency exchange, OKEx has announced extending its real-time settlement feature for two more digital assets-ALGOUSD and ATOMUSD and it is also adding over 20 digital assets for margined perpetual swaps. These include popular projects like Stellar [XLM], yearn.finance [YFI], Tezos [XTTX], and SUSHI among others. These additions will go live from 8:00–9:00 am UTC on Jan. 13, 2021, as per the announcement.
The addition of digital assets for real-time settlements follows its launch that happened two weeks back with only Cardano [ADA]. The exchange noted great acceptance for the ADAUSD market which could be the reason behind this expanding list. According to Lennix Lai, the head of financial markets at OKEx:
“We have received a lot of positive feedback from the feature on our ADAUSD market and will continue to roll this out to all derivatives contracts on the OKEx exchange.”
OKEx has launched a real-time settlement to cover all perpetual swaps, futures, and options contracts. The users will be able to withdraw their profit at any time without having to wait until the daily settlement period. As per the exchange, this will help the users in utilizing their funds.
OKEx will also be introducing its Unifies Account Management feature soon to better the trading experience for users. The hoard of developments in the ecosystem may return the users’ interest that was lost during the uncertain period of investigation by the Chinese authorities. Many users jumped ship at the time, but since then, OKEx has been introducing new products and services to maintain and invite new interest.
