A short while back, Charles Hoskinson the founder of IOHK conducted an AMA session. This was LIVE streamed on YouTube via his official channel. Shelley was supposed to be unveiled two years ago, according to the initial roadmap of Cardano.
However, like the majority of altcoins, developers don’t often stick to their promises. Charles is a sincere individual, but some are doubting his approach towards the ones questioning the pace of Cardano’s developments. Some had commented “No announcement” during the AMA, to which Charles replied saying “F**k you”.
While most ADA enthusiasts revered this response [due to it being upfront and less fake], worries increased for a few. No one would bother to sit through an AMA if they don’t care about the project at all. Considering the fact that Charles is at the helm of this venture, perhaps he should have a more diplomatic outlook.

While Cardano employs state-of-the-art tech and their solutions involve huge amounts of research or experimentation, abiding by set promises and deadlines is key to building a community. The ATH attained for ADA was during January 2018, since then more than 17 months have gone by. If Shelley doesn’t see the light of day by December, potential HODLers may abandon ship.
Cardano is ranked at #11 on coinmarketcap. The price sunk at a rate of 0.79% in the course of the past 24-hours. The trading volume recorded is $34.580 million, whereas the supply has 25,927,070,538 ADA coins in play. As of this moment, the total market cap of Cardano is $1.161 billion. ADA is priced at $0.044789, due to its descent in the red zone.
