Access to dApps extends to all browsers instead of the native dApp browser as announced on Aug 22. Coinbase Exchange has introduced a Wallet link service, which serves as a bridge between the app and the customer’s desktop browser.
The exchange has already tested the Wallet link with Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera. Coinbase Wallet users to access and administer their funds using this feature. It also avoids installing browser extensions and copying private keys across different browsers. Here, the user scans a QR code which acts as a link between the Wallet and browser. This enhances security.
