James Bond No Time To Die filming continues with high-octane stunt scenes and gun battles taking over quaint Italian streets

It is the hotly anticipated 25th chapter in the 007 franchise and it marks Daniel Craig’s final bow as the iconic Secret Service agent.

And filming continued for ‘No Time To Die’ as a series of high-octane stunts were seen developing on the streets of the UNESCO World Heritage site, Matera in Italy, on Saturday.

Daniel Craig may be winding down his time as the legendary Ian Fleming character but shooting has not slowed down one iota, as stuntmen and actors were seen flying through the air on motorcycles and having gun battles in the streets.

Crew were seen covering their ears as the shoot outs took place, with some staffers even donning noise cancelling earphones.

In another shot, a bike stuntman was seen driving up a near-vertical ramp before launching himself into the sky.

Daniel Craig was not present during shooting, instead he was thousands of miles away in Toronto promoting his other movie, black comedy ‘Knives Out’.

He was snapped on the Toronto Film Festival runway looking dapper, wearing a sleek black suit, necktie, and white top not unlike his breakout character, James ‘007’ Bond.

Directed by Cary Fukunaga, the film is co-written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge who was brought on board to sprinkle her magic on the script for the 25th movie in the film franchise based on Ian Fleming’s hit novels.

The film had previously been been given the working title Shatterhand, however the title has since been changed to match Bond’s more iconic film titles.

In recent months, Daniel has been busy filming for the hotly-anticipated James Bond 25 movie, which will serve as his final stint as the iconic spy.

The latest Bond film sees the secret agent’s tranquil life in Jamaica upturned after his friend Felix enlists his help in a mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist.

Production finally kicked off in April of this year, though it had already been delayed by several months following the departure of director Danny Boyle.

No Time To Die will be the fifth and final James Bond movie to star Daniel as the secret agent 007, after he first took on the role in 2006’s Casino Royale, and subsequently starred in Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre.

The film, which also stars Naomie Harris, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw, sees Rami Malek take on the role of an as-yet-untitled villain.
